In this course, students will: learn the basics of 3D printing; develop spatial reasoning skills and build on 2D to 3D conversion understanding; develop science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) skills; and develop persistence, communication and teamwork. With different industries now moving to include 3D printing, early introduction to the process of designing for 3D printing not only begins to prepare students for said industries but also will engage students in real-world learning.
