Mrs. Melshonda Lowe-Dobbins, M.Ed.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Melshonda is a certified art educator for grades K-12 and a professional artist. She received her B.F.A. in Design from the Kansas City Art Institute and a M.Ed. in Elementary Administration from the University of Missouri-St.Louis.
As an graphic artist, Melshonda has been commissioned by numerous companies and organizations including but not limited to Hallmark, Prison Performing Arts, Urban Artist's Alliance for Child Development, Inc., University of Missouri-St. Louis, Northwest Academy of Law, and The Historic Missouri Theater. In addition, she has worked extensively with individuals to create beautiful oil portraits depicting loved ones.
As a teacher, for the past 13 years, Melshonda has enjoyed teaching a variety of courses, such as Intro To Art, Studio Art, Printmaking, Photography, Drawing I, Graphic Design I, AP Art History, and AP Studio Art.
Melshonda is the mother of two beautiful children, married to a very loving husband, and is the owner of We Paint Out Loud, LLC.
